Tiger is a 32" round panel build in the copper foil technique. The pattern was custom designed for and donated to the Republic High School basketball team for a fund raising auction. The auction will be held on May 4th, 2009. Gold Panner is a 36" x 48" panel built in the copper foil technique. The pattern was designed from a photograph of a real person, and modified for stained glass. Victorian Bevel Window was designed for a 1911 Victorian farmhouse in Elgin, Oregon. For the piece we did research into the Victorian era for appropriate colors and layout style while working within the owners budget. Chili Rista was a panel commissioned for a woman in Michigan. Her husband was a glass skeptic, but in a thank you letter, she noted that he was very happy with the finished piece. Blue Bird panel was commissioned by some friends for their summer cabin in Republic. The panel required some research into bluebird species as they were interested in mountain bluebirds. Then I had them choose birds from a number of pictures of birds in different poses. We settled on one flying bird and one perching. |
